Inquiry Practice Capability and Students’ Learning Effectiveness Evaluation in Strategies of Integrating Virtual Reality into Vehicle Body Electrical System Comprehensive Maintenance and Repair Services Practice: A Case Study

VR has shown positive growth in the world recent years, which is mainly due to projects such as learning, games, entertainment and experiential activities. changed way of life users, providing users with more interesting interactions immersive experiences. This study aims investigate students’ practical capabilities learning effectiveness under instruction strategy integrating virtual reality into simulation games Vehicle Body Electrical System Comprehensive Maintenance Repair Services Practice curriculum for students Dept. Auto Mechanics a skills-based senior high school. Two student classes major Engineering featuring subjects one school central Taiwan were chosen participants this study. By pretest–post-test research design heterogeneous grouping, an 8-week experiment was conducted ZPD (zone proximal development) strategies used experimental group (with 43 persons), while traditional didactic control 36 persons). instructional analyze collect quantitative qualitative data feasibility developing material area Power Machinery practice. According objective, results are concluded follows. (1) Students achieved best when adopting integrated vehicle charging starting system automotive diagnostic troubleshooting fault-clearing capabilities. (2) attained highest acceptance phenomenon familiar practice factory environment tools equipment operation process. (3) had higher using disassembly functional detection systems. (4) There effect knowledge, skills attitude on overall inquiry their effectiveness.
